RISE | The Balls on the Falls | Belfast

RISE is a concept public art spherical metal sculpture in Belfast constructed by Wolfgang Buttress. It was constructed in early 2011 in the centre of the Broadway roundabout which is an important entrance to the city of Belfast. It is also known as The Balls on the Falls as this junction also gives access to the Falls Road area via Broadway. The structure is also believed to be constructed to celebrate the Football (large ball) and Golf (small ball) legends from the city. An impressive welcome into the City of Belfast.
