When you Fall.. Again and Again..

This is not something new, isn't it? All of us were babies once. It took quite a long time for us to learn to balance our head. Then to sit properly. At the end, to walk. When you learned to walk, you really started moving towards your 'dream freedom'. At that age of infant innocence, you thought, running away from your Mother's lap and Father's strong hold was a great achievement. You would have been conducting magic shows to them; running away once in a while some centimeters away from them with your backside's movement telling them "catch me if you can". That smile on your face, cherishing those thrilling few seconds you found to escape from their hands.

But, at the end of many such 'freedom runs', you would have fallen. What happened then? Did you lose everything in the world? You couldn't move further? Did these people from whom you ran away reject you? No. No. Not at all. It was just a matter of getting up, smiling and running back to them to give a hug. Your Father or Mother, or those who cared for you would have come running to you, not to make you realize you have just fallen, but to help you stand up once again and move on. Because it's part of our nature. As human beings we are used to such circumstances.

Many of us struggled to learn to walk. Worked hard learning to ride a bicycle. Got some wounds in the areas near our elbows and knees. Just check it out, some of those scars will still remain; reminders of your 'great falls'. But did any one of those scars stop you from walking or riding a bicycle? Do they again and again remind that you are a fallen hero? Do they tell that you were a loser once upon a time? No. They just make you remember, and say to your self, "I came through all these. Proud to have those scars which taught me lessons, gave me the thirst to yearn for the better, brought that hunger to have a clear goal and also the mind which will not give up". That's the spirit!

My dear friend. Today, if you are reading this with a sense of "giving up" on something which you are really running for, I encourage you NOT to give up! None of these 'great falls' should stop you from finishing the run. Please stand up once again. Put a smile on your face and try to learn the lessons and move on. Winning or Losing does not matter, but Finishing the run is important. We cannot stop. We have to move on. Sustain the patience in you, do not lose the determination in you. Those who care for you are there to help you move on. They'll come running to you whenever they know that you need their helping hand. Above all, God is there, just running behind you to help you reach the purpose which you are made for, to guide you to the place where you should be. Sometimes you may have to struggle, you may need time to breathe, strength to recover back from the fall you just had, reminder to tell you that you have to reach the finish line. Take time, but don't give up. The world has seen so many like you and me in its history. But it remembers and cherishes those souls who had the courage to stand up once again and reach their finish line.

"Falling again and again does not mean you cannot stand up one day". All the best!
